About FinanceGuide

Tools built to show the math, not sell a product

FinanceGuide is a planning workspace, not a bank or brokerage. Every calculator shows its assumptions in plain view so you can adjust them and trust the result.

Why We Built This

Most people don't need another product pitch — they need a clear number

A lot of financial content is written to sell something: an account, a subscription, an app. FinanceGuide exists to do the opposite — give you a working set of calculators and a budget planner you can use without signing up for anything.

We're not a bank, broker-dealer, or registered investment advisor, and we don't hold or move your money. The Budget Planner's data lives in your browser's local storage, not on a server.

How We Build

Four principles behind every tool

Show the Assumptions

Every input you can change is visible — no hidden default rates or fine print.

Keep Data On-Device

The Budget Planner saves to your browser's local storage — never to a remote server.

Estimates, Not Promises

We label projections as projections and never present them as guaranteed outcomes.

Informational, Not Prescriptive

General frameworks are offered as starting points, not as advice tailored to you.

What We Focus On

The order we build in

Each stage of the platform is built on the one before it — cash flow clarity comes first, strategy comes after.

01

Cash flow clarity

Starting with the Budget Planner, so income and expenses are visible before anything else.

02

Growth modeling

Compound growth and SIP calculators to test how contribution amounts play out over time.

03

Strategy guidance

Investment Insights content that explains allocation and risk concepts in plain language.

Financial planning and budgeting documents on a desk

Financial Foundation

Understand your numbers first. Then explore what they can help you accomplish over time.

What FinanceGuide Is Not

Clear about our boundaries

We focus on planning tools and clear financial information, without managing money or offering personalized portfolio advice.

  • Not a bank, broker-dealer, or registered investment advisor
  • Not a source of personalized financial or tax advice
  • Not a platform that holds, moves, or manages your money
